Team Ireland - Paris 2024 Qualification Tracker

Strange language in the Swim Ireland statement…’ Four well know swimmers will have one key focus and one focus only’ That statement sounds very bossy and actually cant be true as we cant have all four as relay only swimming. If they are there anyway who not let them swim any event they get into?

Jodie McCann's potential Olympic invite is edging closer now. Canada's Briana Scott has just received her invite and she is 2 places ahead of Jodie in the Road to Paris ranking. It's expected she will receive an invite after the reallocation process but it'll be great to see if confirmed, hopefully soon.

In the 400m a Lithuanian has received an invite and she’s behind Sophie Becker so it looks like she’s in too.

3 GB athletes refused the invite so it’s pretty much a done deal. I think only Barr will miss out now

I don't think the athletes did the refusing, but thats' academic - given GBR stance, always thought McCann was in. Barr, we wait and see, but specialism will hurt him here.

I see the Pole immediately below Sophie Becker has got a reallocation, so that pretty much confirms Sophie is in.

The Lithuanian behind her has got one too. We’ll find out officially tomorrow
