79 countries?

I’m inclined to say yes. That’s the number the IOC, OIS, and Lausanne2020 have been throwing around.

Here’s a link to the Live Trivia platform: https://www.lausanne2020.sport/en/fanzone/

It can be a bit glitchy, so be aware. Highly recommend playing as the winner will receive a free trip to the Tokyo2020 Olympic Games!

It's all nice and fun to have some game like this, but why on earth don't they first focus on the actual content of the app? It's basically nothing and the YOG starts in a few days.

And still no timing system, entries, media guide, etc. I swear they’re trying to make my next two weeks an impossible task.

Especially this. Come on, it can't be that hard to at the very least have a list of athletes per sport which one can filter by nation or something?

When clicking on the super-G in the app, it brings you to an explanation page....where it explains that in slalom they have two runs. Super-G isn't slalom FFS.

    • @hckošice, even though Tomankova lost, she had a good fight against Costa, I think soon she and Babulfath will be the stars of -48kg.
    • Yes.   The event has been cancelled due to the accident.
    • Damn...   That's Clement Noel's Red Bull event of Sunday I think?

    • Yeah, we have such a strong crop of Juniors, that we can’t take them all. They all have exciting trajectories but to predict what Junior swimmers will is always difficult. Better to let them all swim together at Juniors than rocketing them all up to seniors and swimming a prelim and going home.
    • Hanlon is the most unlucky, in my opinion. Aside from relay cover, she's the 50m champ and they made a point of including consideration for those events being in LA for the other discretionary picks. Essentially she has the same case for selection as Max Morgan (albeit without the trajectory right now).   Blocksidge's form was way off this week (compared to her previous bests). Obviously being still young you could put that down to relative inexperience. Still, she has World and European Juniors that she could still be selected for this summer. There's an argument that performing well at those might be as beneficial as going to Singapore.   That said, I'm happy that they did take a bunch of discretionary picks. That's not always been the case.
