I believe the commonwealth championships are separate and being held a day before the 2019 Pacific Games/Oceania Championships Combined competition, but I could be wrong.

There are so many athletes that it cannot be held in 1 day and weightlifting is scheduled for few days so can't be separate.

Does that mean it counts as three competitions despite only competing once? I wonder how the Olympic ranking will handle it.

Yes ofcourse. It's given so in iwf website and yeah its counted separately.

It appears as though the football tournament will be the 1st Round of qualifying for the 2020 Summer Olympics. The website is referring to it as the preliminary Round of qualification. I’ll try to find more details. Maybe @JoshMartini007 can enlighten here.

I’m going to assume that the open water swimming 5km has begun. However, the website hasn’t posted any updates yet, and ITG hasn’t begun their blog. Open Water Swimming is the only sport giving out medals today, and it will not be livestreamed (understandably).
