Technically, the Mixed Team Event in Cross Country replaces the Mixed Nordic Team Event. I liked Cross Country Cross though, so I’m a little bummed to see it gone. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Olympian1010 7,980 Posted March 1, 2021 #924 Share Posted March 1, 2021 Just a small note, but I really like the new FISU pictograms: https://www.fisu.net/sports/all-sports I think it’s part of the new branding they adopted last year, and I have to say, the logo/pictograms/etc. look modern, colorful, and professional. “Sport has the power to change the world. PHI2019 262 Posted March 22, 2021 #925 Share Posted March 22, 2021 Centro Caribe Sports to award 2022 Central American and Caribbean Games next month Centro Caribe Sports is set to announce the replacement for Panama as the host of the 2022 Central American and Caribbean Games at the end of next month. The organisation's President Luis Mejía Oviedo revealed the timeline following a two-day inspection by its Future Venues Commission of Mayagüez in Puerto Rico, one of the two candidates in the running to stage the Games. El Salvador's capital San Salvador is also bidding to stage the 2022 Games after Panama withdrew as hosts last July due to the financial constraints caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Olympian1010 7,980 Posted April 19, 2021 #928 Share Posted April 19, 2021 For those interested, ODESUR has been posting various full session replays on their Twitter. Lately they’ve posted replays from Santiago 2014, Santiago 2017, Cochabamba 2018, and Lima 2019. Here’s one they posted a couple days ago. This is part of their ODESUR TV initiative I think. They stream mostly on Twitter through Periscope. However, Periscope is shutting down soon according to their website, so I have no clue what ODESUR will do in the future. konig 1 “Sport has the power to change the world.
