China is 12 golds behind the United States does anyone think they can catch them?

I think they will be just short, they pretty much need to sweep diving plus the United States can still win in women's water polo

They can certainly sweep the diving, though.

It's 2022 and still technical issues happen at major championships.

Waiting for the final score in Mixed Team but it looks like France :FRA with a silver here. French aquatics doesn't look too bad after all on the road to Paris (though in a non-Olympic event)!

To be frank, it seems to me the quality of pretty much everything sports related has gone noticeably downhill after COVID came. From result systems to live streams.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
