CONTINENTAL CUP 2022/23

 

HK Nitra won the Continental Cup

 

being the 5th Slovak team to win this competition after HC Košice (1998), Slovan Bratislava (2004), HKm Zvolen (2005) and MHC Martin (2009).

yeah, I saw some highlights from Friday and Yesterday (not yet Today, I'm too busy with Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Short Track Speedskating, American Football and Fencing  ).

Slovan Bratislava beat HC Košice 3-1 and return to 1st place in the Extraliga.. Košice stays in 3rd place

14 years old Nela Lopušanová called for the first time to our womens seniors NT for the upcoming 5 nations tournament in Budapest next week

 

In case she will start in a match (and she will) she will destroy the youngest player playing for the national team national record

Nela Lopušanová experienced last night her debut in the National Team.

 

lost to host country 6-7.

 

and Nela ? well, she scored a hattrick The first ever under 18 girl to score a hattrick in NT, first ever U18 girl to score in her NT debut (not even speaking about 3 goals lol ), not sure how many girls did it abroad, but I guess it should not be so much, one thing is sure, she is the first 14 years old girl to score a hattrick in her first Seniors international match. And it was against Hungary 8th of last years Top division Women´s WCh.
