Got a bit excited there with the prospect of Darya/Bjoerndalen win, but still, managed to get to 3rd is great. Didn't think it can be done. Nice race.

The win is still possible, don't forget part two starts in a little bit and it counts as one event

Honestly, if not for Bjorndalen (I'm nearly certain the decision was influenced by him), Domracheva could have won a lot of crystal globes in the next few years. She was in amazing form last year and honestly saw her as the big favourite for 18-19 before she announced retirement.

Although I can imagine Domracheva (and OEB) actually wants to have all the time to focus on raising a kid.

Only if Doll had money on Domracheva and OEB to finish on the podium (which is definitely possible since bets were available)
