little correction, I counted also 2 challengers...so ATP singles finals 5 and with doubles 8.

Davis Cup Euro/African Zone I , 2nd Round

 

Hungary - Slovakia  0-3

 

Fucsovics/Godry - Martin/Zelenay 2:6, 2:6, 3:6

 

after a never ending rain in Budapest, finally we played the doubles... most likely the last 2 scheduled singles will be cancelled, there strong wind and very bad weather conditions, and frankly no need to play them..

 

so qualified for the play-offs (don´t know why I thought we have to play also Israel ) the draw is scheduled for tuesday. eventual opponents ( JPN, KAZ, SUI, POL, CAN, GER, AUS, BEL, ESP, RUS, IND, UZB) each opponent will be hard, but I am sure that one thing is certain, we are speaking about slovak davis cup so as usual we will play away

Well that depends on whether the last match against those teams was home/away, or isn't it like that as it is in the Fed Cup?

yeah, but don´t worry we will be drawn against a team that we played last time some 20 years ago at home or a team we never played so there will be a draw and ofc we will lost him.. trust me, you can bet on it
