Yeah, which she said she thought was doping. Admitting doping to get away with smuggling drugs, that's a new one.

You don't get jailed for doping tbh. This is one of the rare instances that admitting to doping was actually the lesser crime. Guess it didn't work

Yeah that was the whole point.

By the way, you can in fact get jailed for doping in some countries, like Germany. Even more so, supplying athletes with doping (which is what she 'admitted' she 'thought' she was doing) can give you up to 10 years in prison.

I believe that affects the medical personel for distribution of non-prescribed drugs and such. So they want to battle doping by scaring off the providers. Let's face it, you can get busted for illegal distribution of non-PEDs as well based on this law.

Sure. The point is she'd probably be facing jail even with her excuse. Pretty dumb, but I guess 'pretty dumb' comes with smuggling drugs, so yeah.

That's the case of our country - the anti-doping law started by Bańka has a few things to add (for example Ziółkowski was fighting, unfortunately unsuccesfully, for dopers having to give back the money spent on their preparations), but it's quite a good one.

So we now know the four event that will not be core events in 2020 Diamond League. They are the same for both genders: Discus Throw, Triple Jump, 3,000m Steeplechase, and 200m. The men and women will race the 3,000m Steeplechase and 200m at 5 meets next year, but the events will not count towards an overall standing. The men and women will only compete the Discus and Triple Jump once next season. This is all according to Inside the Games.
