The Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation (UGF) has announced that it will file a formal complaint against Sofiia Ilteriakova. The federation is demanding that Ilteriakova’s results at the Sofia World Cup—where she won silver with the hoop—be annulled due to unsportsmanlike conduct. Additionally, the UGF is requesting that Ilteriakova’s neutral athlete status be revoked. World Gymnastics has confirmed that the incident during the hoop final medal ceremony at the Sofia World Cup is currently under investigation. -
