yes, first world cup win since February 11th, 1996 (when Gerda won in Sankt Moritz)...

fun fact...in the 1997/1998 season, Gerda won the overall world cup without a single race victory...

then she shifted to Bobleigh...

This is the first win on a German track for a non-German female luger since Andrea Tagwerker won in Koenigsee in November 1997!

I'll never complain about that streak getting broken!

not fully convinced...they'd rather call the day off with such weather condition...

it was unfair for most of the riders and it could have become dangerous, too...
