Another expected gold for C. Heathcock at junior level at just 16 years of age, beating his 19 year old brother in the semifinal. His performances remind me of what Leonie Ebert was doing some years ago, dominating adults fresh out of kindergarten.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Skarbonkiewicz did it, despite not being expected before the start of the championships...

meanwhile Colin Heathcock, who was basically a lock, just missed out on the double cadet & junior gold (fun Fact...he missed out his "natural" class title and won among the older guys)...

it's not the first time it happens, but having the same winners (almost) in 2 events out of 2 is quite boring, so to say...

    • Yep, confirmed.  We have Marcelletje for , Lindsay Vonn and Lucas Pinheiro Braathen for .   However, Vonn and Hirscher will be wild cards, so starting down with the Chileans and the Iranians in the first leg.  Snow conditions are good though.     Vonn, Hirscher & Braathen Returning To Racing At World Cup Opening - InTheSnow
