I consider certain track cycling events much more predictable :p

naaaa...if we talk of Tokyo 2020 Kata events we can say that it's gonna be Japan's double Gold and Spain's double Silver, unless an epic earthquake (metaphorical one, of course..better say that when speaking of JPN :facepalm:) happens...

I don't think there are many events with this high degree of predictability...

Yeah and British teams are gonna dominate the team pursuit on the track once they get their main equipment again as always, anything else would be an insane surprise, equal to Russia not winning in the rhytmic gymnastics :p

I'm surprised to this day nobody does detailed pages with brackets for each category on Wikipedia. In fact, the year's edition doesn't even have its own site yet. :d

Yep, it's a shame. Wikipedia brackets = best brackets

meanwhile in the men's Kumite the first big upsets are coming...the replacement from Turkey Alparslan Yamanoglu threw the Japanese Hideyoshi Kagawa out in rd of 32! :yikes:

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
