Yeah, usually I hope for the US to choke at this tournament so they can win their quotas at the World Cups, but I feel if they lose here, they'll just take the Pan American Games quotas too. Hopefully they, Mexico, Cuba and Guatemala steal a few quotas at the World Cup so the rest of the continent can qualify.

Not so sure about Mexico. Our strongest shooter, Zavala, has been having a nightmarish season, so I just pray tomorrow she wins her event, having the support of her home crowd.

Even in women 10 m air rifle the olympic quota goes to USA. Tomorrow the same events will be played at the same time for the other gender.

Ecuador is currently leading the women's 10m air pistol qualification. She won silver at the 2018 South American Games

 

This event along with women's trap will be Canada's best chance at qualifying a quota normally.

Very good performance by Ecuador. Unless athletes qualify through the World Cup events, this one is going to be very competitive at the Pan American Games
