Brazil is going with 464 athletes, a mix of young athletes with some more known names - including 8 Olympic medalists (Isaquias Queiroz and Ana Marcela Cunha among them).

Entries are out for equestrian. You need to create an account to see them all. Yeah, FEI.org is one of those annoying places which require that.

Dressage

Teams - :ARG :BRA :ECU :URU

Individuals only - :CHI :PAR

Unfortunately, Ecuador is missing their shooting star Julio Mendoza. They would have probably made the Top 2 with him on board.

Jumping

Teams - :ARG :BOL :BRA :CHI :ECU :PAR :URU

Individuals only - :PER

Is a suprise for me only 4 teams in dressage, i imagine it isnt eventing because the situation is even worse.

How do you see the Panomara about the final positions?

I think Colombia and Venezuela can't qualify for the Pan American Games here (they have the Central American & Caribbean Games). That's why they are missing.

And I don't think Paraguay has a venue for eventing. :p

:BRA :ARG :ECU in dressage and :BRA :ARG :URU in jumping should be the medal favorites.

Weird choice to have the Opening Ceremony at saturday, instead of using today as the first day of competition.

Anyway, Nathalie Moellhausen (Fencing) and Guilherme "Big Dog" Costa (Swimming) will be our flagbearers.

I generally don’t get too hyped for the South American Games, but I’m rather looking forward to this edition :d

I caught a glimpse of the new speed skating oval on social media last night, so I’m looking forward to the speed skating tomorrow given the new facility and strength of entries.

PanamSports Channel is offering eight channels of livestreams by the way: https://www.panamsportschannel.org/main
