After defeating United States in the last group A round robin session, qualifies directly for the semifinals, as both teams finish 6-1.  and  (same record as Sweden at 5-2, but Japan won the H2H) are off to the qualification games.

Liam Liljenborg is the current leader (48.54), with  Nash Huot-Marchand in provisional silver (48.88), and  Elliot Westlund in provisional bronze (49.21)

 

Further behind, but not completely out of reach of the podium are  Zak Carrick-Smith in 4th (49.22),  Leon Hafner in 5th (49.32),  Stanyslaw Sarzynski in 6th (49.58),  Florian Newmayer in 7th (49.80),  Edoardo Simonelli in 8th (49.93),  Jonas Feicher in 9th (49.95), and  Benno Brandis in 10th (50.02)
