First Slovak athletes arrived safely to S. Korea.

Our 5 Luge Team members landed earlier today in Gangwon. Today departed our Skeleton participant, on Monday the biggest part of the team will head to Korea as well including the Biathlon, Ski Jumping, Snowboarding, Alpine Skiing and Short Track Speed Skating teams. Last group with Ice Hockey players, Freestyle Ski Cross and Cross-Country Skiers will fly to Korea next week

Luge team spending the waiting time in Seoul airport by playing.. obviously football lol

Thanks! For now I might just put it in my own agenda on a day by day basis, like just a thing at the end saying "Check today's results" instead of every match, but this will definitely be useful.

Hockey schedule is finalized but curling has yet to release anything yet (which is surprising, considering they are usually on top of things)

I am highly surprised they didn't spend the time by playing one of various forms of hockey :d

Meanwhile, Brazil's cross-country skiers aren't even on snow yet and are at 30+ degrees temperatures right now. But you know, why try to acclimatize if you're going to finish last anyway (which is an attitude no athlete should have of course, but it is the attitude of the federation, save money on everything possible, because the results will be bad anyway.....duh).

Yeah, that´s really strange attitude and approach :smash: Anyway, I hope BRA athletes will still perform well and prove their federation they deserve better treatement

@heywoodu Not sure if this is any better, but it was what the IOC had posted up until a few days ago: YOG Schedule integrated_ENG.pdf

Peacock only has figure skating on their streaming schedule at the moment, so I guess I’ll be watching the Olympic Channel.

It does have ice hockey matches listed, so that helps, thanks! Although I wish they'd simply have it in a regular way online, instead of as a massive PDF where you need to zoom in endlessly and then scroll back and forth :p

There are such excellent systems, like the Sportresult one I believe (say *eventname*.sportresult.com), but they always have to somehow create their own cumbersome thing at the IOC....not sure the schedule and results system is even available yet, less than a week before the start?

So Day 1 (Saturday 20th) streams are out,

we already know there will be no Streams for Luge (all sliding sports I guess), Snowboarding (Board Cross for sure) & Biathlon  .. so not only it will be in the middle of the night of Europe but there will be no video coverage.

Also quite logically the 3vs3 hockey tournament seems not being broadcasted as well, but I guess (hope) at least the regular Tournaments will be... since in opposite of the beforementioned sports it is quite popular also outside of Europe ... :p

Interesting, Olympic Channel announce all matches being streamed, despite the hockey link not being shown in this day 1 broadcast schedule... so maybe there still a hope

How to watch ice hockey competition at Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games

Action from all 13 competition days at Gangwon 2024, including the 11 days featuring ice hockey matches, will be streamed live on Olympics.com with dedicated feeds, as well as on the official Olympics app for mobile devices.

You can also watch full replays on demand on Olympics.com and catch highlights across the official Olympics social media accounts.

They’ll probably post a results system in a few days. They aren’t really behind schedule in that regard.

Official training for sliding sports should get underway in the next 36 hours I believe, so I guess we are due for a results system. My guess is that it will either be SwissTiming (sportresult as mentioned by @heywoodu) or Atos given those have historically been the IOC’s timing/IT partners.

    • That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
    • That’s not a long distance, it’s barely a 2h flight and there is no difference in timezone. Easily doable for fans as well.
