So apparently Evenepoel is a football school dropout. :p

Sort of :p

He played in Anderlecht's youth, then went to the youth of PSV (NED) and back to Anderlecht, meanwhile playing in Belgium's youth teams. At Anderlecht troubles with the coach led to him not being selectd anymore, so he moved to smaller KV Mechelen, where he quickly lost interest in football and decided to start racing (April last year :d). Started with a 10th place on a regular road bike in a time trial against guys who had been racing for several years and then went on to destroy every junior :p

The GPS in the end was only around 95% wrong :) Saying Van Vleuten was 12-13 seconds faster than Van der Breggen, which turned out to be nearly half a minute

I don't follow cycling on daily basis, you probably means van Morsel - what's her full name? (I never remember that).

Leontien Zijlaard - Van Moorsel (I think in that time it was still just Leontien van Moorsel). Who had the 2004 road race gold in her hands with a show of force in that race, until she was in the front of the pack, looked back and clipped a wheel, and fell. Few days later instead of being in the hospital, she won the ITT gold :p
