that's one of the reasons why I love Karate

 

hundreds of Nations from all Continents competing at the highest level and most of them capable of having medal chances in the most important tournaments in the World

 

but Tommy the King, AKA Fencing Olympic Champion in 1976 just thinks that's not enough...it's not urban and cool...gotta have to replace it with breakdance :facepalm: :hairpull: :bones:

:ITA winning the biggest number of medals, but not a single gold :facepalm:

 

p.s. once again...

 

only 12 competitions led to:

 

  • 22 different Countries on the podium
  • 9 Countries with at least 1 gold medal
  • 4 Continents represented among the medallists (all of them with more than 1 Nation, Americas featuring both North and South, Asia featuring Middle East/Gulf Nations, Central Asia and Far East)

 

but for the IOC that's not youth and urban enough, there's not enough of worldwide spreading and gender equality...better choose Breakdance, Freestyle Cycling and shit like that to be added to the Olympic Program :bones:
