First sub 13:00 of the season in the men’s 5000m for Mo Ahmed at the LA Track Fest in 12:54.22!

Also today at the LA Track Fest, Camryn Rogers with a pretty decent 75.56m in women’s hammer throw, Jazz Shukla 2:01.18, Aurora Rynda 2:03.24, Addy Townsend 2:03.68 in the women’s 800m, and in the men’s 800m, Abdullahi Hassan 1:47.96.

Damian Warner starts off his Gotzis campaign with a new SB of 10.20 in the 100m of the decathlon! He also records a best mark of 7.80m in the long jump.

Warner with a SB of 2.03m in the high jump portion of the decathlon.

Warner finishes the day with a 47.46 in the 400m portion of the decathlon. 2nd after Day 1 with 4585 points, 16 behind Ehammer.

Ethan Katzberg well off his best today, but still manages to win the men’s hammer throw competition at the Orlen Memorial Janusza Kusocinskiego with a best mark of 79.12m (Halasz and Fadjek were also in the field btw)
 

He had a 73.91m first throw, but rebounded soon after throwing 77.82m in the 2nd round, 78.81m in the 4th round, 79.12m in the 5th round, and 78.45 in the 6th round.

Agree, but not for someone like him. Recently he’s consistently been above 80m. And also, the 73m throw.

OLYMPIC QUOTA ALERT!! Lucia Stafford 4:02.32 in the women’s 1500m at the LA Track Fest!

Really nice start to day 2 for Warner in Gotzis, producing a new SB in the 110m hurdles of 13.45 (0.01 faster than Tokyo 2020, although still 0.18 off his PB), and 46.41m in discus throw. Warner now leads by 183 points over Ehammer, pretty much insurmountable.
