What the hell was CBC doing?????  Right when she starts they cut away to some fluff BS about her.  Jesus, we want to see the effing race!  You even had dead air for a few minutes before she went due to a broken gate.

It seemed even weirder since they've done the cut away to Kelly Vanderbeek before but just did a voiceover.

Absolutely horrible run for Rahneva, down to 9th.  There's her medal chances.

For those interested, USA and Czechia are tied in women's hockey after 2 periods in their quarterfinal match!

Jennifer Jones loses her first Olympic match.  Had soooooo many chances to win or at least tie and, just like in mixed doubles, just kept missing.
