Alex Schwazer (ITA) posts 3:39 in the 50k at the Race Walking World Team Championships in his very first race after his 4 year doping ban. Horrible day for athletics.

And a big shame for the other Italians in the team. Their gold medal is now being looked at in a bad way because of asshole Schwazer.

Tamberi and other italia doesn't like the convocation and the other athletes today continue to say "we four". Malagó (CONI president) say that for the rules Schwazer can run but whit his expression he destroyed Schwazer

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
