:ARG won a world series stage after 13 years by defeating Fiji in the Vancouver final.

Amazing season so far for the boys with one gold, one silver, three bronzes and just a 5th place as worst result.

Losing to Spain and Scotland beating Kenya was worse. Makes the match against Wales all the more important to avoid relegation.

If Argentina beats Ireland, they will move up to first in the standings.

With two legs remaining here's what the relegation standings look like (bottom 2 get relegated)

:KEN - 38 points

:SCO - 37 points

:CAN - 32 points

:WAL - 31 points

:JPN - 25 points

Spain, Samoa and New Zealand can mathematically still be relegated, but it'll be highly unlikely. Things look pretty bad for Japan, they pretty much need to advance to the cup quarters in at least one event to have a chance. While on paper Kenya has a nice lead, their recent performances is a bit concerning. If they pick up 1 point in both of the legs things could be a bit tense for them.

Despite a "bad" 5th place :ARG is now leading the overall standings because SA and Australia did worse.

Fiji won the stage in Paris.

They were alone in Paris then.
