Vincent van der Voort had to withdraw from his 3rd round match against James Wade yesterday, due to a positive COVID test. Considering he had been spending Christmas with his buddy Michael van Gerwen, people feared...and feared....and today it came: Van Gerwen tested positive as well, he's out.

 

Dirk van Duijvenbode celebrated with them by the way, he played yesterday, now it's a matter of waiting.

The day in which De Sousa is good at the world championships has yet to come. Nice to see a surprise, but Soutar....meh. Sure it's a nice guy I guess, but as a player, it's all kinda boring   His averages of 89, 90 and 88 so far says it all.
