A little over 5km to go. There's a small lead group with among others Tord Asle Gjerdalen (sadly wearing a hat today apparently) and Petter Eliassen, chased by Anders Aukland and a few others.

According to a Norwegian sport site, The defending Olympic champion in Skiathlon, Simen Hegstad Krueger, will be dropped for the distance at the WCH.

It will likely be these four skiers who will start in Skiathlon for Norway; Johannes Klaebo, Martin Johnsrud Sundby, Sjur Roethe and Emil Iversen.

Justyna Kowalczyk has confirmed on her Twitter that she will be part of the Polish Relay team and Team Sprint at the WCH in Seefeld.

I know November, December, January and February never seem to come to an end, but the months of waiting are over and the Brazilian Rollerski Circuit is about to kick off this week
