Marathon is by far the worst discipline at european level, Mazuronak is by far the closest to being a world class athlete. On the mens side we have Farah and to some degree Moen. The times of Radcliffe and Mikitenko are long gone, but i am optimistic that Europe will win a marathon medal on the womens side in 2024, maybe even on the mens side if Ingebrigtsen decides to run marathon or if Wanders continues to improve.

It's also by far the worst discipline to predict generally, so I don't value those bookmaker's odds that much.
