I made this nice list of multi-sports games Broadcast Intros. I think it’s the most extensive collection on YouTube. Enjoy! Playlist: Here

Heck, I even haven't seen the Asian Para Games TV ident because all the broadcast will just abruptly start in the middle of the event.

Good idea. Knowing @Dragon‘s extensive knowledge, we will be asked if we know the middle name of the paternal grandfather of the gold medal winning captain in men’s water polo at the 1920 Olympics :d

Antun. :)

I saw it quite a few times. The IPC broadcast the event internationally, and they seemed to know more what they were doing than the host broadcaster.

I was lucky.

The captain was Paolo Radmillovic

https://cathayscemetery.coffeecup.com/antonioradmilovic.html

Both his father and grandfather were called Antun although tecnically they didn't have middle names.

The greatest Welsh / Croatian / Irish sportsman ever. :d

Now how difficult do you want your questions? ;)

Add this to the playlist, the forgotten Myanmar 2013 intro

It is somehow only used in the host country though, other TV stations across SEA created their own version like this Vietnamese one:

It’s still in early stages and development, we will bring extensive coverage of the Pan American Games on here instead of the daily podcasts. I really hope you guys like it. It’s a project I hope to maintain for years to come.

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
