Yes, it's perfectly possible. Argentina did exactly this at the South American Championships this year and Fainberg got a medal. ;)

Yeah, whatever we did today with badminton, Mexico should easily counter with basque pelota. Athletics and swimming will likely determine where we finish in the top 5.

Wait, isn't Bolivia the favorite for gold medals in racquetball?


Basque pelota, squash and racquetball are sports I completely ignore, but I remember Bolivia has a world champion in racquetball, so now I'm curious.

Basque pelota, squash and racquetball are sports I completely ignore, but I remember Bolivia has a world champion in racquetball, so now I'm curious.

 

It is in men's, but we have the recordwoman of all times in this sport, Paola Longoria. The main rivals will come from Argentina and the US.

 

In men's, Mexican and US players could upset Bolivia. Also Costa Rica has chances to medal in male events.
