Thanks to Rolf Sørensen for reminding Danish viewers that he crashed only a few hundred meters from where Casartelli died. I believe it was a bit further away (that's what the Dutch commentators said, Casartelli died near the bottom of the descent), but yeah, it was the same descent, which is mentioned here every time they are on the Portet d'Aspet. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! They had already given it plenty of attention, but Rolf sounded pretty sure.

heywoodu 13,562 Posted July 24, 2018 #478 Share Posted July 24, 2018 'Formule 1' kind of start tomorrow: the top-20 starts on the front row, and the rest follows in order of the GC standings. Tom Dumoulin is expecting that to mean....absolutely nothing: "None of us, main GC candidates, will want to go hard from the first kilometer, so probably we'll just ride the first few kilometers rather slowly so the rest can catch up" Of course it's still something very different and I am very much looking forward to this potentially highly explosive stage If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! If Sagan somehow will manage to survive tomorrow, his green jersey should be more or less quite safe. Also Gilbert after his horror crash as expected is officially out of the tour
