That's not possible unless we categorize the events by sports instead of bigger categories (I was thinking of Summer Sports/Winter Sports/Multi-Sport Games and Paralympic sports). I thought about categorizing by sports but I think it would get too messy with 44 summer olympic sports and 15 winter olympic sports. That would mean 59 categories and 59 different colours :facepalm:And it's not possible to have subcategories unfortunately.

Are different colors really required? Summer sports can still be red, and Winter blue, even if they are in different categories.

I'm afraid this is just not very readable. And it will only get bigger.

For team events where there are qualifying groups that spread throughout months, can we add the matches in brackets.... for example in rugby, after the event details "Men's Rugby European Conference 2 South 2017-2018" can we write in brackets after the item to specify which match is taking place.... for example:

Men's Rugby European Conference 2 South 2017-2018 (Cyprus v Austria)

Men's Rugby European Conference 2 South 2017-2018 (Slovenia v Slovakia)

I think this might help users find specific items they are interested in.

It can be done, but I'm not sure how many team sports apart from Rugby have so few matches to make it possible to realize that. For example FIFA World cup qualifying matches spreak thoughout months but they would be too many matches to add so we can just write "Week X".

No they are not really required. I'm fine with just one colour for all the events, which one do you think is the best one (I can put literally any colour).

Cool, I’ll do it for rugby then :d

I would suggest green or grey

All the Athletics and Badminton events of 2019 have been added :toast:

Let's go on with other sports. Whenever you spot an event which is in progress but is missing in our calendar, please add it yourself or report it here if you are not familiar with the templates.

Slowly adding shooting events, done up until end of March.

Also the World Handball Championship needs to be switched to an Olympic qualifier.

Why are all tennis and badminton tournaments listed as Olympic qualification events? I think only direct qualifiers should be listed as such, otherwise everything will be red (including, yes, literally every equestrian event listed in 2019).

Mmm not sure what should we do for those events where the ranking counts for the Olympic Qualification. You are right there would be a lot of events listed as Olympic Qualification events, but well theoretically they are :mumble: Any other users' opinions about that ?

    • (Quiet gaming, zero social pressure, no calls, no KYC… just peace.) As someone who’s definitely on the introverted side, I’ve always hated anything that feels intrusive — long registrations, support calls, verification uploads, or sites that spam you into interacting. So over the past year, I tested a bunch of crypto casinos specifically to see which ones are introvert-friendly: ✔ no forced KYC ✔ fast payouts (so no long back-and-forth with support) ✔ clean, quiet UI ✔ no pop-ups and no social pressure ✔ easy deposits ✔ minimal interaction needed Below is what actually worked for me. ⭐ My Top Crypto Casinos for Introverts (Real Testing Results) Casino Why It’s Introvert-Friendly Speed Link JackBit Quiet UI, no KYC, instant payouts 7 min 👉 Play at JackBit BetWhale Low-pressure bonuses, simple layout 14 min 👉 Play at BetWhale BitStarz Fast cashouts, no forced conversations 9 min 👉 Play at BitStarz ThunderPick Clean minimalist design 18 min 👉 Play on ThunderPick 7Bit Casino Extremely chill, no notifications 22 min 👉 Play at 7Bit 1. JackBit – The Most Comfortable Casino for Quiet Players If you’re introverted like me, JackBit is basically perfect. BetWhale – Best for Quiet Bonus Hunters BetWhale surprised me — their bonuses are generous without requiring chats, emails, or ID checks. Why it works for introverts: Wagering progress updates silently No pushy pop-ups The whole site feels “low-pressure” Support never contacts you unless you message first It’s a very low-interaction platform.   👉 Play at BetWhale (Smooth & Simple) 3. BitStarz – Fast Payouts Means Less Interaction BitStarz is great if you want to deposit, play, withdraw and leave — quick and efficient, no conversations needed. What I like: Withdrawals are some of the fastest online No random KYC prompts if you use crypto Very stable gameplay (no need to contact support) A calm, mature-feeling interface Perfect for players who like things to “just work.”   👉 Play at BitStarz (Quick & Quiet Gaming) 4. ThunderPick – Best for Introverts Who Like Betting Too ThunderPick has one of the smoothest, cleanest interfaces I’ve used. Everything is intuitive and visually quiet — no clutter, no noise. Introvert-friendly perks: Great for casual betting without chat rooms Mobile interface is extremely calm No forced community features You can switch between casino & sports without talking to anyone     👉 Play on ThunderPick (Minimalist Interface) 5. 7Bit – The Chillest, Quietest Crypto Casino 7Bit feels like a casino designed for people who want to be left alone. Why I recommend it: No aggressive marketing No forced KYC unless you use fiat Huge game library with silent browsing Simple cashier with no need for support interactions It’s a very relaxed environment.   👉 Play at 7Bit (Totally Low-Pressure) Final Thoughts — The Introvert’s Casino Shortlist If you want a quiet, private gaming experience without feeling watched, talked to, or pressured: 🏆 Best Overall for Introverts: JackBit 🏆 Best Quiet Bonus Experience: BetWhale 🏆 Fastest Stress-Free Payouts: BitStarz 🏆 Best Minimalist UI: ThunderPick 🏆 Most Chill Game Library: 7Bit
    • It's not a coincidence that a lot of the matches that are earlier in the day are in Atlanta and Houston and Dallas where they have roofs.  And most of the games in the outdoor stadiums are later in the day.
    • The best athletes will all be there anyway – it's easier to get a spot in the top 10-15. Only the great champions were ahead of Gismondi today.
    • They are not "oppressed enough" to be mention here.
    • And remember the Olympic Paradox - it is slightly easier to get a medal at the Olympics than at a World Cup because in the Olympics the numbers of racers from the powerful nations are capped at 4.
    • Jimmy Mariano  basketball. 84 years old.   Member of the Philippine men’s basketball team at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Flag bearer for the Philippine delegation at those Games.
    • Franchi had a similarly impressive performance at the 2023 World Championships on the same distance but later she completly missing. I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
    • The last day was a great success, for first. Secondly, even 20 medals are fewer than the 22 from 2023 and 34 from 2021
