Easy win for us over Great Britain. The decision by Itoudis to rest Giannis today proved to be the correct one :yes

The graphics on screen this tournament are tragic. So many times the score is not updated, it is a joke.

if only this was the biggest problem...

have you read about yesterday's shameful disorders after GEO vs TUR and about the unbelievable tech mistake by the refs in the GER vs LTU match? (with the following protest not even taken into consideration by FIBA)  :hairpull:

And another surprising win for :UKR in team sport today! They just beat :ITA :yikes:

this one isn't so surprising...we already took a big risk against UKR 10 days ago in the world cup qualifiers (game played in Riga)...only Gallinari saved our ass that night (and yesterday he wasn't available because of the bad injury he sustained in the last game before the start of this tournament)...

and don't be too surprised if tonight we fully destroy ourselves with another loss to Croatia...

We are barely capable of beating Estonia these days. You'll be fine.

I think we will beat Italy, whole country starts to hope. then we lose against Ukraine in a drama. And then in the knock out round a complete melt down and -20 against Poland/Israel or whom ever.

that is how we do it 😉

Even the Georgian shenanigans at end couldn't prevent us from finally getting a win here. Happy, that we won't be leaving empty handed, but frustrated we didn't beat Montenegro, because this team was fully capable, if they just avoid stupid mistakes. Will see, what happens with Belgium tomorrow.

Another superb performance by Eurobasket's top scorer Vezenkov  I still can't believe he chose to stay in Olympiacos, he is probably in the top 3 or 5 top Europeans not playing in the NBA. And he truly deserves it. He (and Bost) are practically carrying the whole team on his shoulders and manages to bring out a better performance from the other players, who play only in the BG league.

he took a big, big risk (for his own life)...

many people, who bought the (very expensive) ticket to see Giannis play, were seen near the Greek locker room with baseball bats, pistols and shotguns...:yikes: :roflmao:

I couldn't tell if you were joking or not at first, so I did some research and could not find any articles about this

He has Greek citizenship and had the option to play for us and contend for medals, but he chose to play for Bulgaria instead. You should be proud of him. He is clearly very loyal to his roots despite never living in Bulgaria :yes

    • Suspect strongly that the Sultan of  is behind Global Wushu!     Another one is long distance & ultra triathlon.  There are literally millions being paid out in prize money to attract big name athletes from several sports, huge FTA TV coverage but seemingly no prospect of any profit.   And the classic is obstacle racing, which has effectively bought up the ownership of Modern Pentathlon.
    • apparently the Japanese organizers rejected OCA's nice request    now OCA is ordering them to do so in a not-so-nice language https://oca.asia/media/attachments/memberships_subcommittee/5/Decision_-_103rd_OCA_EB_Meeting_5ypY8y4.pdf   the last line is very interesting   I knew this for a while, for example that's why Jujjtsu is included in all of OCA events (despite being the worst sport to watch) but good to see OCA admit this. so with the corrupt OCA you can buy your way in. how much they paid the OCA officials for this ?   OK I know Qatar is financially supporting Padel (and UAE is paying everything for Jujitsu) but who is behind Teqball?  ! I don't think Thailand can do that.
    • Important information on team Aerials.   There is no AIN`s team at the start list of the world cup despite of the fact that belorussians have enough athletes to have a team.   https://medias4.fis-ski.com/pdf/2026/FS/8119/2026FS8119SLF1.pdf
    • By the way. It looks like no AIN`s will be in biathlon by the start of the Olympics. Russians filed an appeal to CAS to get AIN statuses in biathlon. But IBU did not agree to have hearings with short procedure. So the decisons are not expected before the end of qulifying period. (FIS could do the same but its top-officials prefer to help russians be back as quick as possible).   I would like to see Dolidovich at the Games. Because she is a real refugee of the relatively high level.
