I got that

my question was, why the rules are different here for monobob events ? any special reason?

Monobob has been specifically created to bring new & smaller (in bob terms) into the sport.  Women’s Bob has had trouble getting established - some meets in post-Olympic years you only get 10-12 teams.

Monaco! :cheer: :wMON: Top 8 would be amazing.

By the way, Rudy was extremely smart this season. He just started a few World Cups and a few Europe Cups. Bare minimum to qualify. He is fit and fresh here.

Meanwhile, the World Cup season was long and busy. No wonder numerous drivers were sitting in at the start towards the end of the season. ;)

I remember a racr in the post-Olympic season with 7 teams.

The Germans are unbeatable in sliding events where they can bring their own sleds, but haven't won a medal in the only event where everyone's equipment is equal. Curious.

How is that so curious? Developing equipment is just as much part of a sport, like wax in skiing sports..

Besides, Laura Nolte has actually been consistently in the top of the field.

:GBR flip it, but still finish.  They walk away, but no chance of a Run Four.

Maybe no: they’ll lose places but not out of the 20.
