If i choose some tickets in the 1st phase draw, then when the draw will be good for me - do I have to buy them all or can I skip some of them, I mean to buy all the tickets I got for one event and not to buy any tickets for other events?

 

I mean, e.g. on one day I would prefer to go for athletics, but if i don't get these tickets in a lottery for that day i will be left with nothing. So i'd like to choose e.g. beach volleyball for the same day, just in case. But if i get athletics, i don't want to go to volleyball anymore.

My strategy is to get whatever I can in this round coming up, as long as I am interested in seeing it. You don't know what will still be left for the next round when single tickets go on sale, and if there is anything extra you have, you can always resell it at cost on the ticketing site.

 

Also, thanks for posting the FB site- I had to make a FB account to join, and my membership is now pending.

So i have registered for the Phase 1 draw.

Waiting what e-mail I'll get after Feb 13th.

 

Now time to prepare my 10 packs (3 events each).

From all the sessions which are available in Phase 1 Draw our (me and my sister) no. 1 is definitely:

 

ATHLETICS

 

ATH08

 

05/08/2024 Monday 19.00-22.00

 

Because there is W 800m final in it. Simply as that.

 

So I would like to make one pack including:

 

1. one session on Sunday 04/08/2024

2. ATH08 on Monday 05/08/2024

3. one session on Tuesday 06/08/2024

 

And I would like to try three different sports.

 

Any recommendations for 04/08/2024 and 06/08/2024???

It's depend on your preferences.
For example, Sunday 4 there are about 20 finals.
From italy, i would choose swimming finals, witch 1500fs and mixed relays.

If you want to experience something a bit different then these could be nice options:
 

 

ARC17 - Archery Men's Individual Round of 16 (09:30 - 11:15) might be a nice start to the morning on 4th August. Should be a good experience if you enjoy watching archery or want to experience a new sport and the venue should be great as well.

CLB02 - Sport Climbing - Women's Boulder Semi-Final and Men's Speed Qualification on 6th August (10:00 - 14:00).

As a warm-up to Paris 2024 we are planning to go to Budapest for athletics 2023 WCH (19-27/08/2023).

 

Any tips for that?

 

I don't think tickets & hotels will be an issue here.
