Poor :ITA  140 minutes still scoreless in Bratislava. :( They finally scored a goal but the successful "coach challenge" from Latvian bench about offside infraction denied the Blue team to finally taste the feeling of a scored goal at this tournament..

Andreas Bernard ffs !!! Legend ! this guy is a god ! 62 saves today !!!

and this one MUST WATCH !

What a shame this guy is almost unknown in his own country, he should be a real national sports hero, He is just above level for so many years and brought so much to Italy and Italian Hockey. maybe our Italian friends can start to share infos about him to make him more famous and popular because he deserves it. @phelps @Gianlu33 @Dunadan @SteveParker @Pablita @Henry_Leon @Sindo

In other news. Our federation and the organizing committee director jointly today officially apologized to the Canadian delegation. Our Police already launch investigation against the...how to call them...viewers (because that definitely are not Fans) who have embarassed us totally and made a huge worldwide shame for our country yesterday and completely spoiled the fantastic entire impression of the championships.

Now just let´s hope Canada will accept the apology and we will show them our true hospitality and huge, passionate BUT ABSOLUTE FAIR love for the beautiful sport they invented.

And Canada accepted the apology, and in a real classy style

The Organizing committee announced it on a press release.

Tom Renney, President of Hockey Canada

The Canadian team, on behalf of its president, Tom Renney, has fully accepted the apology.

He expressed understanding for Slovak fans and their disappointment with the result. At the same time he pointed out that he cannot imagine the championship without such passionate and exceptional fans as the Slovak team has.

Real class ! Canada ! real class !

Once again peoples who did it, are not fans. Today no one in Slovakia is speaking about the result or anything, everyone from social medias to news sites is feeling sad because feeling so ashamed and embarassed of what happened after the game.

It never happened before in any Slovak Ice Hockey National Match during the whole 26 years. And I am pretty confident (seeing the atmosphere it put today all over the country and peoples reactions today) it will never happen again.
