With Russia and Belarus(to a negligible effect)  banned , the world champs will be very open in women's and pairs category.   could fight it out in women's category. If China declines participation pairs skating will be open too.

China is missing from the entry list and the entries are closed reportedly. Seems like they are unable to leave their country, just like the biathlon team.

 

Pairs will be wide open.

Figure skating has a problem that a lot of Moscow-born, Moscow-trained athletes are representing other nations. Even in singles, which was highly unusual until recently. It's puzzling what will happen with them. One possible solution is that they will go to Montpelier via Dubai, and coachless.

If Russian skaters want to represent other nations they should but I only request them to choose exotic nations like        etc
