The swiss women are likely to benefit from another obscure and hard to find rule; the most placement points anyone can receive who skates the free program is 16. As long as Repond finishes in the top 12 they will get two quotas. -

Qualifiers for the Olympics have to be in the free skate. ISU rule 400.A.3. Too bad, that was insanely close. -

Nope! If she finishes in the top 10 will be eligible to earn a second quota at the last chance qualification competition. You cannot earn 2 or 3 quotas from worlds without having 2 or 3 athletes qualified in the free skate. -
I think if Pinzzarone will finished in top 10 then she will earn 2 quotas for same with Repond -
Qualified for the Olympics in women's figure skating: 1-3 Quotas 1-2 Quotas 1 Quota Based on my reading of the qualification document will be qualified if any of fail to achieve their maximum quota but could use a second opinion there.

The difference between and it’s 0.01… so close for the azeri girl. Julia just did an amazing job, she qualified for the Olympics but for now she don’t have the citizenship, hope she will get this as soon as possible.

Ah! Not seeing a reference to that in the qualifying document, but the ISU does have a knack to write hard to read qualification documents so I might be missing something.
