  1. Meanwhile, back to the topic. Slovan released their statement and it looks they still didn´t understand They will send tomorrow the remaining 13 players from the A team who did not fit into the nomination for the match in Klaksvik. But the players which are already in will not return back but the team will try to find a way to retest them tomorrow and try to exempt from compulsory quarantine the negatively tested players. The match is however officially rescheduled for Friday evening https://www.skslovan.com/clanok8056-Zapas_s_Klaksvikom_prelozeny_na_piatok.htm Remember the governement met extraordinarly yesterday and ordered to ban the match from taking place on the original date. The guests were given two options, either by all players going to the 14-day mandatory quarantine on the islands or immediately leaving the country by the same plane they came from... todays response of the "all mighty Slovan" everyone will stay there and will play the match after retesting tomorrow
  2. I agree for DAC. this would solve many problems. The problem is UEFA/FIFA and their stupid policy to ban the international leagues. slovak clubs many times altogether with Czechs wanted to form a czech/Slovak national championship, UEFA at that time under Platini rule refused it. Basically except the premier League, there no other football league allowing foreign countries clubs to participate. So stupid. Look at hockey or other sports how that work very well, if a club want to play in let say ice hockey league, no problem, just pay like elsewhere and if the other clubs have no objections, they are welcome, but if a football club (DAC) want to play in league, it will never be allowed because of that UEFA policy and thus have to play here even if they are not identified with the country they are playing in...and the most funny thing is, since they are good enough and did qualified for the European cups, they will again represent Slovakia in Europe (even if their ultras will punch you in the face only because calling them slovaks )
  3. nvm I found it. So the match is postponed, and Slovan will be allowed to play but only with his "B" team - so basically the Juniors team and they have to play until Friday night max. Maybe, should be better to forfeit it than quickly find and send some juniors to Klaksvik and embarassing the whole our football by losing to a club on pitch
  4. @Wumo can you please translate me what they wrote here, because i can not understand a single thing from google translate https://ki.fo/news/322/uefa-gevur-slovan-bratislava-freist-til-hosdagin?fbclid=IwAR2KSE4hlj5lMT-ueSytKlN1c38uGCQ9KEJN4pqGu-Ud_dCoASEyqDEEWKI
  5. The opening stage of the 2020/21 World Cup in Solden will be definitevely behind cloosed doors.
  6. yeah...every match of DAC is a financial trauma with basically all necessary involvement of the security forces but you know there always idiots on both sides other teams "Fans" always provocating the home fans with their "Trianon ! Trianon !" and DAC fans always provocatng with their anti-slovak songs, This is Hungarian soil bullshit and their "Ria Ria Hungaria" etc.. all the time... and especially singing Hungarian national anthem before every home match...in brief, the "beauty" of a Slovak football league
  7. Our "beloved" champion Slovan Bratislava just can not stop embarassing our country wherever they go Now they apparently brought some gift to the , covid 19 pack made in Slovakia. Not only apparetly they have positive mebers of the crew with them but they even did not comply with local quarantine laws and decided to still left the hotel and even had yesterday an official training. The local government has immediately sent a request to UEFA that either Slovan players all will have go to the 14-day mandatory quarantine or leave the country immediately by the same plane they arrived . Slovan insists on his own and wants to play tonight the match

  17. Stanislava Škvarková (known by her maiden name Lajčáková) run today 12.90 in 100m H. establishing new NR and became the first slovak female to run the 100m Hurdles under 13 seconds ever now she is 0.06 away from the Tokyo standard, who knows maybe there some chances to have another slovak athlete in the Olympics Track&field events next year ...we still have yet to qualify in this sport (SVK - 0 qualified in athletics so far)
  18. The goalie of Boston Bruins Tuukka Rask leaves the team and will not play anymore during the Play-Offs. Afraid of coronavirus he opted to return home to his family and newborn daughter. Jaro Halák is now the starting goalie of the Bruins. Already between the pipes in todays match 3 of the 1st round Play-Off against Carolina which started a couple of minutes ago. The series standing is 1-1 between the Bruins and Hurricanes
  19. Glad you and your "superpower" are back in full strength
