  4. Petra´s shape slowly improving. another nice podium
  5. I don´t know, it was just my personal oppinion. Too many changes, from the wind/gate compensation rule in ski jumping, to the Mass starts and sprints obsession in cross-country skiing, or the alpine combined complete change and reduction of alpine skiing start lists quotas, stupid top groups bibs seeding in the speed alpine skiing events, freestyle events getting more and more attention than classical snowboard disciplines etc...+ the disastrous new FIS web site is a special chapter in the rising lost of my interest... all in all, I just don´t feel the same vibe, the same enthusiasm I had towards the winter sports season in the past...
  6. Simen Hegstad Krueger at PyeongChang 2018 Skiathlon is one hell of a comeback I remember
  7. Tour de Ski was something great and fun to watch during the first editions, it was something new and fans loved it. I´ll never forget the Lukáš Bauer era, I was excited about this months before it started. Now it´s just one crap. I definitely lost any interest 2 seasons back and this year with the newest idea of a mass start final climb I am not going to watch it as well (not interested anymore). Wish FIS will remove this farce from the calendar soon. winter sports are going the very wrong way last years I am affraid
  8. Embarassing but expected blowout against super mighty skilled reigning champions... surprising but earned win of this amazing young German squad over the hosts ... and absolutely shocking Tennis bagel as the worst Canadian defeat in a while in this category emballed by serious injury of their biggest star and expected NHL Draft #1 Alexis Lafreniere ... and incredible winning streak of Sweden at U20 WCH preliminary Round now reaching number 50 matches in a row ! wasn´t the only highlights of this crazy day 3 Two other curious moments to notice from this day, one quite funny and the other not so much... German Justin Schutz was sitting at the penalty box for 2 minutes penalty and when he returned into the ice he was immediately send back for another 2 minutes ! Something you really don´t see often the less fun thing now, captain Barret Hayton apparently couldn´t swallow the 0-6 lesson from Russia tonight since he behaved really sadly, didn´t remove his helmet during the Russian anthem, causing controversy, Russian players were not happy at all and their capteain even protested, but the refs send him back a couple of Russian players then decided to ignore him durng the traditional after match hand shake @heywoodu I know you secretly love controversies in sport, so I thought you may like it

  18. Really ? I can not believe what I am reading here. If any troll song will be entered in purpose to deliberately harm the TISC (A mark of this forum and OlympicIRL amazing idea) I would be really seriously disappointed and personally will never compete in TISC again
  19. in other hand, going for 50th consecutive preliminary round win at U20 WCH
  20. I saw that move, his knee clearly moved wrong way, defnitely did not look good, he could not stand on that feet when he was taken away of the ice.

  22. I know. The U16 girls tournament is completely open and the girls can with some luck and good days fight even for bronze, which would be quite hard to imagine in the boys tournament, considering the competition. but still I would love to see this U18 class there, guys like Chromiak or Myklukha are supposed to be "FINALLY" the real promising talents. I am a bit sad about the decision also because this way pitty this generation will don´t have the chance to play any elite level tournament, since last years team relegated they will have to play only at the U18 Division I A in April. and even if they win the tourney (which they MUST) they will not be eligible anymore for the next years eventual top division
