  4. oh yes, you and your immortal queen
  5. well, Sweden has gazillon of medals at WOGs so I guess that would not be economically smart for your NOC to pay off everyone

  7. Today our NOC ceremoniously handed to the athletes the checks with awards for the medals at the Beijing Winter Olympic Games. was about time I mean, it is already june (but, ok, the winter season officially ended last Sunday so...) 275 000 EUR for the bronze medalist Ice Hockey team (Beijing 2022 Team captain Marek Hrivík (second from right) received the check in the name of the team) The team Staff recieved 27 000 EUR And Petra Vlhová Gold medalist in W Slalom received 50 000 EUR (one of her coaches Matej Gemza took the check on her behalf, since Petra is already in full preparation and trainings on snow) Her team staff received 16 500 EUR Another pleasant touch took place today, Our NOC after the checks awarding ceremony presented to our Hockey NT coach Craig Ramsay the Slovak NOC gold badge (order), which is the highest award of our NOC Also the NOC president informed that Juraj "the son of god" Slafkovský is among the 5 EOC nominated athletes for the "Piotr Nurowski" award fot the best European youth athlete of the year in winter sports ! (the other nominated athletes are Nika Prevc SLO - Ski Jumping, Victoria Olivier - AUT Alpine Skiing, Lorenzo Previtali - ITA Speed Skating and Leon Ulbricht - GER Snowboarding)
  8. I don´t know, this should not have any impact on the matter, for example it never was a deal here. We are quite good in this sport despite the guns are not easy to take here at all. You need to undergo various tests to receive a gun license, it apply also for athletes in gun-sports
  9. and today came a major blow to our Olympic direct quota hopes... For some reason, believe it or not IIHF awarded and ranking points based on their last year IIHF Ranking position (3rd - so 1120 points) even without playing this year at all BLR got 860 points for 14th place of last year....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IIHF_World_Ranking This is just an unbelievable unfair and completely sad move from IIHF I understand IIHF want to have and maybe back in the elite once that moron in Moscow will finally find his pills and return to reality, I also understand it is not completely fair to punish (all) Russian players by sending them to the lowest possible division (if that war will continue for a couple of years) But ... This ais already the second time IIHF is trying to screw our hopes with decisions from behind the ice rinks... No need to say Slovak fans going all mad in the hockey forum...also Germans obviously since this move de facto send them to the first non-directly qualified provisional place When Czechoslovakia split, Czechia continued with the ranking of Czechoslovakia and Slovakia got 0 points and got sent to C division, where probably a more fair approach would have been Slovakia getting the same amount of points. I understand that having Russia return back to A division is better for hockey when we're in times of peace and redemption, but it does put it as a bad precedence given to what happened to Slovakia in the past. Seriously Fuck off IIHF

  24. Guys Remember In the Gold medal match the Overtime is 20 minute "sudden death" 3 skaters vs 3 overtime until the goal is scored, if not, there will be another 20 minutes and so...so the match can be played in theory until tomorrow but 3 against 3 format between CAN and FIN so yeah the overtime can last also some 15 seconds only
