  3. Cesta (read - Tsesta) is Road in Slovak and Czech languages and Perú in Slovak language literally means They wash (in washing machine)
  4. Exactly. Their government approved last week a funding of 600 million HUF (1 868 634 EUR) for Ice Hockey "explaining it - for the Sporting, Strategic and development activities of the Hungarian Hockey" In fact the major part was actually for covering the mentioned payment and all costs of the two clubs to enter (buy the license) the SVK national championship. That also includes broadcasting rights in Hungary and other various privileges. In fact Hungary seems really starting to put huge funding amounts into hockey, they want for example build and open 19 new Hockey rinks in the next few seasons

  6. Both combined. https://www.cas.sk/clanok/705847/do-tipsport-ligy-vstupuju-zaujimave-kluby-madari-daju-klubom-takmer-milion-eur/ quote in SVK in ENG: Both clubs will pay nearly 900 thousands EUR to play in our championship, the money will be divided among the 10 slovak participating clubs and yes, very expensive, but well if they agreed and have no problem to pay it, so where´s the problem
  7. What about China ? I just can´t understand that so huge sport powerhouse with so big population is so, how to say "unimportant" in the worlds most popular sport
  8. Which other AFC team would have done better than KSA here ? I honestly have no idea, but Saudi look really weak so far. Syria ? Lebanon ? Jordan ? Iraq ? N. Korea ? Uzbekistan ?
  9. Australia the smartest country in the world
  10. The two defencers How did these guys qualify ?
  11. Mixed feeling here too. In the discussions forums there a plenty of debates about this move. But well, It´s official for one season so let see what will happen, and at the end of the season we can evaluate the pluses and minuses. For now hat is certain both teams definitely already surpassed the local league, so I can not blame them that they search something else, plus they have the sources and potential to bring our league and our hockey something new and refreshing so another so needed boost, it may help our league very well, which was unfortunately in stagnating and declining mood lately after the departure of Slovan Bratislava to the KHL
  12. When they will return back the K4-1000 and Canoe Slalom C2, I´ll be ok with the deal to dismiss the Mixed Trap then
  13. and Rehák-Štefečeková/Varga won their second WC competition and second WC win. As I said, this Mixed Trap thing may be our highest medal chance in the Tokyo Olympics
  14. Putin has better sound than Robbie Williams
  15. Both Slovak teams qualified for the Mixed Trap finals
  16. First bet guys..Will we see the first historic Video challenge at Football World Cup already in the first half of the First match ? I sincerely hope so
  17. And it´s Official. 2 Hungarian clubs MAC Budapest and DVTK Jegesmedvek Miskolc will play the next 2018/19 season in the National Slovak Championship - Extraliga. Today it was officially announced. Both clubs payed 900 000 Euro to play in our league (In fact every opponent will receive some 90 000 EUR), The deal is official for 1 (next) season, but with option to eventually prolong it for at least 3 next seasons. So next year our top division will have 13 participants, 12 core teams (10 SVK - No one was relegated this year, and 2 HUN) + 1 "Special" team (traditionally the National Under 20 Team playing the first part of the Regular season until the Junior World Championships starts in December). Every team will play 55 matches in regular season (4 times against each other 2x home, 2x away) + 2 matches vs U20 National team (1x home 1x away in Piešťany basecamp of the team). There will be a Best of 5 matches qualifying round for the play-offs (7th vs 10th and 8th vs 9th) for the last 2 places to the Play-Offs. Hungarian Team can win the Championship but can not became Slovak Champion so there will be two trophies awarded (One for the SVK National champion - for the best ranked SVK club, and one for the Championship winner). The worst ranked Slovak club will play a Best of 7 games Play-Out against the winner of 2nd Division.
  18. Echevarria 8.66 in very bad weather conditions in Ostrava
  19. Finally a podium in Malta after two 6th places of Sykorová in Skeet and Rehák-Štefečeková in Trap. Well done Marián. In other side still very poor form and performances from Erik Varga,

  21. Yeah, this definitely will not help to makes Netherlands second not smart move dudes... Btw for SVK, it wasn´t a surprise at all..the "obscure" thing was known already before our federations lords left the airport, they literally said to our medias : "We will vote for Morocco and basta !" don´t search why https://sport.aktuality.sk/c/341450/slovensko-bude-hlasovat-za-maroko-ako-organizatora-ms-2026/
  22. No, I think something "obscure" happened last week when we played in a friendly test match. I assume the Moroccan lobbying worked effectively. I started to suspect it already when their fans didn´t booed or whistled our anthem (which is a common thing from N-African fans before every international match) so maybe they said them, let them, and be polite, they will vote for us plus, I see that Estonia was the next and last Moroccan opponent before the WC and also did voted for them as one of the few Europeans
