  12. Emmanuel Macron landed in Bratislava to starts his official visit of Slovakia (today) and Czech Republic (tomorrow) as first president to come celebrate the mark of 100th anniversary of establishment of nowadays sadly non-existing Czechoslovakia. quite logical since France was the first country to officially recognize Czechoslovakia as a sovereign independent country. http://www.rfi.fr/europe/20181026-president-macron-quete-allies-slovaquie-republique-tcheque
  13. So, officially today was introduced our new coach, for the first time in history we will have a "foreigner" in charge of our Football National Team. The Czech Pavel Hapal signed today a deal until the end of the EURO 2020 qualifiers, the goal is ofc the qualification, which should be doable since 24 teams will qualify. In case of success his contract will be prolonged for the World Cup qualification etc.. His Monthly Salary will be 15.000 EUR (a amount that a average Slovak must work at least 2 years to earn ) + special bonus 200.000 EUR in case of qualification for the EURO 2020 One of his first moves is to call back the "enfant terrible" of our football the "Mr. eternal problems" Miroslav Stoch (you know the guy who won the FIFA Puskas award with the highest ever amount of votes), so that´s gonna be interesting.. source in SVK https://sport.aktuality.sk/c/363149/video-pavel-hapal-je-oficialne-novym-trenerom-slovenska-kolko-bude-zarabat-a-povola-stocha/
