  7. This is becomming to be hilariously insane !!! Slovakia the true real Penalty Killing mastas We played 4 minutes in a row 3 vs 5 and still haven´t received any goal, and this is not even our top team. Seriously, if there something we are among the top nations in the world in this sport, it is definitely our play during opponents power plays.
  8. This new "Delaying the game" rule after two faults in the face-offs is the most stupid thing that have been invented in hockey ever !!! Just saw it for the first time in my life. what exactly happened ? our player was send to the penalty box, Power play for Austria, logically face-off in our defensive zone, but the Austrian center committed a faul, the ref gave hime first warning, so the face-off has been replayed but the Austrian guy (the same) committed again a fault getting his stick to the ice too early and the result, the referee send him to the penalty box for 2 min minor penalty for delaying the game...so 2 minutes 4 on 4, the guy was watching like WTF is happening, he clearly had no idea about this new rule

  17. Sure, it´s not the strongest Russian squad ever, but I don´t think this team is so modest, almost the same roster won the Deutschland Cup last month, it´s still a team formed by young KHL players and potential Russian A team for next years. But I do agree, that the match was quite boring, all our matches may looks like this now, this is the game play under Craig Ramsey. We focus more on the well organized defense, if you take a look on our matches since Ramsey became the coach, you´ll hardly find a game when our opponent scored against us more than 2-3 goals. also his biggest mark is our penalty killing. Last WCh for example SVK was the best team in PK stats, if I remember correctly we received only 1 goal during opponents power plays. the same in the Deutschland Cup, I was just amazed by our play during opponents PPs. Today (even if not in so impressive way I must admit) it was still again a 100% PK efficiency for us against Russia "B" even if they played, like you noticed, quite a lot of PPs. looks any team we send to a international tournament, this is a thing they trains the most now, The problem is really the offensive part. It´s very bad, we need a lot of chances to score a goal. We really need to finally find some real top scorers..this task will be the biggest challenge for Ramsey before the WCh.
  18. Miserable shooting efficiency once again...This season it´s clearly our biggest issue. At least 3 clear goal chances missed, one to a half empty net from some 2 meters, but we still managed to shoot wide, then a Rssian attack a couple of seconds later ofc finished by their winning goal even in the last minute empty netter power play we threw away one huge chance...obviously this roster is far from the team that will play the WCh...but the lack of strikers we noticed in the Deutschland Cup team and in todays game is quite worrying for the future

  20. 2 Girls in top 10, 3 qualified for the pursuit, not bad one would say...but that shooting !!! Nastya and her whole careers nemesis..that prone shooting..frustrating as heck Paja again with a pleasant performance, this really can be the finally that soooo waited season, we all expected from her for couples of last seasons Ivona also with a decent skiing and amazing first half of the race...then as always only disappointing second part Poliaková once again by far our best shooter but her skiing is just ultimate misery
