What a match ! what a drama ! HC Košice won against Poprad the 5th game by a goal at 76:15 in overtime to reduce the series to 2-3 now and we are still ALIVE ! After being down 0-3 in this series we finally won the 4th game and tonight it was one unbeievable show at the Steel Arena. Poprad scored in overtime but the video review showed that the net wasn´t at its place when the puck crossed the line...in a extremely dramatic overtime then we had to wait until the 16th minute to see the winning goal. Košice-Poprad now 2-3, 6th match in Poprad Wednesday, it will be something unreal if we can turn this series after being 0-3 down. Only 3 times in all SVK ice hockey championship history a team won the serie 4-3 after being 0-3 down. Let´s hope we will rewrote the history becoming the 4th club to achieve that

A bit surprised to see our team completely skipped the whole Acapulco stage I must say...probably the intention to save on costs, but hey there Olympic quotas to grab there...we still can qualify 1 or 2 more athletes and then exchange the quotas for our nonqualified athletes in rifle or pistol
