Makuhari Messe Sports: Fencing Taekwondo Wrestling Freestyle Wrestling Greco-Roman Zone : Other Venues Capacity: 8.000 Status: Completed Makuhari Messe is a convention center, located in the city of Chiba, Opened in October 1989, often host many High-Technology events, sport events or is a place of concerts of famous artists from all around the world. During the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the venue will serve as venue for all competitions of Fencing, Taekwondo and Wrestling, with the latter staged on the bigger hall with capacity of 8000 spectators, Fencing and TKD on the smaller hall for 6000 spectators.

Kasumigaseki Country Club Sports: Golf Zone : Other Venues Capacity: 30.000 Status: Completed 34km North of Tokyo, the Kasumigaseki Country Club is a 18 hole Golf course located in the city of Kawagoe in Saitama. Opened in October 1929, the course is staged to host the Golf competitions at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Izu Mountain Bike Course Sports: Mountain Bike Cycling Zone : Other Venues Capacity: 11.500 Status: Completed The Izu Mountain Bike Course is off-road course, located in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, 91km Southern of Tokyo, measures 4,100m in length with elevations of up to 150m. Will serve as the venue for the Tokyo 2020 MTB Cycling competitions.
  5. Fukushima Azuma Stadium Sports: Baseball Softball Zone : Other Venues Capacity: 30.000 Status: Completed The Fukushima Azuma Baseball Stadium is a multi-purpose Stadium in Fukushima. It is currently used mostly for baseball matches. The stadium was originally opened in 1986 and has a capacity of 30.000 spectators. 238km Southern of Tokyo, It will be the venue for the grand return of Baseball and Softball under the five rings, hosting the opening matches of both tournaments.

Fuji. The track built in 1960 hosted several famous Motorsport competitions including F1. The site 136 km southern away of Tokyo, will serve as host venue for Road Cycling during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (Time Trial & Finish of Road Races) The Road races start is schedulled dirctly in Tokyo at the Musashinonomori Park.
  7. Enoshima Harbor Sports: Sailing Zone : Other Venues Capacity: 10.000 Status: Completed Enoshima is a small 4km offshore island located as part of the main city Fujisawa, 50 km southern of Tokyo. It was the venue of Sailing events for Tokyo 1964 Olympics, Now Enoshima harbor will again serve as the Olympic venue for the sport of Sailing.

Camp Asaka Shooting Range Sports: Shooting Zone : Other Venues Capacity: 3.200 Status: Completed The Asaka Shooting Range is a shooting facility constructed on the Camp Asaka site for the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo, and hosted all Shooting events of the games and the shooting part of the Modern Pentathlon competition as well. Now, for the 2020 Games It is staged to host again all shooting events of the Olympics.

Baji Koen Sports: Equestrian Dressage Equestrian Jumping Equestrian Eventing (Dressage & Jumping) Zone : Other Venues Capacity: 9.300 Status: Completed The legendary Baji Koen Equstrian Park will host almost all Equestrian events of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics (Except the Eventing Cross-Country part). This 1964 Olympic legacy venue hosted the equestrian competitions at the Tokyo 1964 Games. The park currently serves as a main centre for the promotion of horse riding and equestrian competitions.
  10. Yumenoshima Park Sports: Archery Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 7.000 Status: Under Construction The Yumenoshima Park Archery Field is set to be the venue for archery events in the 2020 Olympics. The qualification field was completed in February 2019. A test event for the Olympic archery events was held there in July 2019. Yumenoshima Park Archery Field has been constructed in the park area of the Dream Island site. Following the 2020 Games, the facility will house archery competitions and be used for a wide range of other activities.

It hosted several Japanese swimming championships. Opened in 1993, will serve at the Tokyo 2020 as host of all Water Polo matches.

Tokyo Aquatics Centre Sports: Artistic Swimming Diving Swimming Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 15.000 Status: Completed The Tokyo Aquatics Centre is a indoor sports arena build for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and will host Swimming, Diving and Artistic Swimming competitions. Tokyo Aquatics Centre has been newly constructed in the Tatsumi-no-Mori Seaside Park. Following the 2020 Games, the venue will host domestic and international competitions.
  15. Shiokaze Park Sports: Beach Volleyball Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 12.000 Status: Temporary Shiokaze Park affords exquisite views of Tokyo's iconic Rainbow Bridge and the beautiful Tokyo Bay. During the Tokyo 2020 Games, a temporary venue will be set up in the park for the beach volleyball events.
  16. Oi Hockey Stadium Sports: Field Hockey Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 15.000 Status: Completed The Oi Hockey Stadium has been constructed in the Oi Pier Ocean Park. Plans are underway for the venue to be used for field hockey and as a multi-purpose sports facility after the 2020 Games. Two stadiums (North pitch and South pitch) are staged to host the Field Hockey competitions at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Odaiba Central Breakwater Sports: Canoeing Sprint Rowing Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 16.000 Status: Completed The Odaiba Central Breakwater is located on the Odaiba, Artificial island on Tokyo Bay and will host all Canoeing Sprint and Rowing competitions of the games. The rowing and canoe sprint course are on this waterfront site, which is also located close to central Tokyo. Following the 2020 Games, the course will be used for international rowing and canoe competitions, and will become one of the premier locations in Asia for water sports

Odaiba Marine Park Sports: Marathon Swimming Triathlon Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 5.500 Status: Completed The Odaiba Marine Park located on the Odaiba, Artificial island on Tokoy Bay offers visitors a rich harmony of natural greenery, the ocean and stunning views of Tokyo's futuristic cityscape including the nearby Rainbow Bridge. During the Tokyo 2020 Games, a temporary venue will be set up in the park to host Triathlon and Marathon Swimming competitons.

Odaiba Sea Forrest Waterway Sports: Equestrian Eventing (Cross-Country) Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 16.000 Status: Completed The Odaiba Sea Forrest is a temporary build course on the Central Breakwater, a artificial island located on Tokyo Bay. This area affords superb views of Tokyo Bay and Tokyo's cityscape. A temporary course has been constructed here for the equestrian cross country competition during the 2020 Games.

Kasai Canoe Slalom Centre Sports: Canoeing Slalom Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 8.000 Status: Completed The Kasai canoe slalom centre course is the first man-made wildwater sports course in Japan and was newly constructed on land adjoining the Kasai Rinkai Park. After the 2020 Games, the facility will be used for a wide range of water sports and leisure activities. During the Olympics will serve as host of all Canoeing Slalom competitions.

Ariake Urban Sports Park Sports: BMX Cycling Skateboarding Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 6.000 Status: Temporary The Ariake Urban Sports Park is a temporary venue located in the Ariake district of Tokyo. Located in the stunning waterfront area close to the Athletes' Village will host during the Olympics all BMX Cycling competitions and will be also the place of the historic debut of Skateboarding under the five rings.

Ariake Gymnastics Centre Sports: Artistic Gymnastics Rhythmic Gymnastics Trampoline Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 10.000 Status: Temporary The Ariake Gymnastics Centre is a Temporary facility located in the northern part of Tokyo Ariake district. will be the venue for three gymnastic disciplines at the Olympics — artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline The arena was constructed under the concept of “a wooden vessel floating in the bay area.” About 2,300 cubic meters of wood were used to build the structure, which has a sense of warmth supplied by the arched timber beams of the roof and the benches made of Japanese cedar.

Ariake Coliseum (Ariake Tennis Centre) Sports: Tennis Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 10.000 (Central Court), 5.000 (Court 1), 3.000 (Court 2), 2.000 (Match Courts 3-10) Status: Completed The Ariake Coliseum is the main stadium of the Ariake Tennis complex. The Coliseum has a retractable roof. Ariake Tennis Park is one of the main tennis facilities in the country, featuring the Ariake Coliseum centre court and fully equipped with show courts, indoor courts and outdoor courts. During the Olympics it will host all Tenns competitions. The match are staged in all 10 match courts.
  24. Ariake Arena Sports: Volleyball Zone : Tokyo Bay Capacity: 12.000 Status: Completed The Ariake Arena is a Indoor Arena located in the Ariake district of Tokyo. It is one of the six permaent facilities designed to be build in the Ariake district for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The arena opened 3rd February 2020 will host all Volleyball matches during the Tokyo Olympic Games.
