Nice final set between and still the only nation to win a men’s beach volleyball gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.

wins the first para swimming gold medal. They’re having to race under the “factoring/points” format, which means he won the race despite not winning it outright.

Watson threw away a gold medal as far as I’m concerned. I think that move would have made it, and he would have beat Culverwell at least gets a medal at worst in that scenario…

Gate wins a hectic final sprint! doesn’t get a medal, which is justice for Culverwell . How incredibly embarrassing for the hosts. They had three riders in a group of fifteen, and couldn’t make a decisive move or win the sprint.

I just noticed this some how. Anyways, to answer your question, I only remember briefly speaking with a journalist from (on the way to the softball final). Otherwise, I never met or saw any other Asian/SEA press there. There were a few non-local journalists from Europe and the Americas. I was quite friendly with some of them, as many of us had a similar focus on things within the Olympics beat.

It’s like they were trying to poke holes in the credibility of it, or nitpick every aspect of it, while lauding praise on Hodgkinson and Muir

I like the use of powder paint in lieu of pyrotechnics at the athletics venue. It’s a nice, unique touch that gives the event a special feel.
