  1. Watched ten minutes of this and I've found a new appreciation for sailing.
  2. 10 days done and dusted, less than a week to go. How are you feeling about the games up until this point? Average after Day 4 - 6,71 Average after Day 6 - 6,04 Average after Day 8 - 6,52 Personally, I'm done with the games. Tokyo was the best for me.
  3. Yeah, judo has been a bit of a disappointment but the biggest letdown has been swimming. Japan isn't exactly known for their athletics, so they should seek for a good swimming programme to grab some medals there.
  4. Whoops, I closed the poll too early for some reason. It's open for voting again.
  5. Any gold chances to come for Japan other than women's wrestling? They'll be down hard from Tokyo otherwise.
  6. We're at the halfway mark with the Paris Olympics. How are you feeling about them after Day 8? Average after Day 4 - 6,71 Average after Day 6 - 6,04
  7. Six days over, what du you think about the games now? Average after Day 4 - 6,71
  8. We don't even have Mario & Sonic anymore because the IOC's partnership with Nintendo and Sega has been dropped for stupid reasons. So this series is effectivity dead. 😥 https://www.ign.com/articles/why-theres-no-mario-sonic-video-game-tie-in-for-the-paris-2024-olympics
  9. Out of the blue I've decided to dig this up again. So yeah, from 0 to 10, how much are you enjoying the Paris games up until this point?
  10. South Korea with 3 golds which makes up for their subpar archery/shooting results.
  11. That means we will definitely see a debut world champion team here.
  12. Seeing as nobody's been mentioning it... Women's High Diving Gold: Rhiannan Iffland Silver: Molly Carlson Bronze: Jessica Macaulay Men's High Diving Gold: Constantin Popovici Silver: Cătălin Preda Bronze: Gary Hunt
  13. There used to be the word 'milliard' in the past in Britain but they adopted the US system of saying billion for 'thousand million' in the 1970s. So not only has British English become so confusing due to many cultures' influence in the past but more recently to US customs as well.
  14. I assume you're thinking in Swedish numerals? English is different. ENG million = SWE miljon ENG billion = SWE miljard ENG trillion = SWE biljon
  15. Some of those people have very cool names. Seneca Cloud Funmaker Teienerahtatenionkwas Goodleaf Rotshennón:ni Two-Axe Why is Quebec called Eastern Door and the North?
  16. 12th, 8th and 9th from the preliminary round make up the podium? This sport has turned from set in stone to unpredictable. Usually, China doesn't drop like that in judged sports but I don't follow artistic swimming.
  17. Another top 10 player nobody talks about keeps exiting early (Taylor Fritz). 3rd round is the highest he's reached this year in a Grand Slam tournament.
  18. Hopefully Lacrosse won't get selected for the 2028 games. It doesn't develop around the world and there's only the same 4 teams with the same expected result. Women's ice hockey has more rotation.
  19. If you want "stronger", there's also chess boxing - which might very well replace regular boxing. win-win
  20. ATP is probably in love with Zverev. He also mysteriously gets easy GS draws so often.
  21. Alasan Ann vs. Marc-André Bergeron R1 1-9 R2 3-3 R3 3-1 How did Bergeron not win the match after Round 2 was also awarded to him and how can the match end 2-2 in favour of Ann?
  22. Wait, Poland lost the first two matches but ended up as the group winner because everyone finished with 2 wins and 2 losses?
  23. Almost an all-Chinese affair by now in the singles. Only Hina Hayata managed to kick out Wang Yidi 21-19 in a decider.
  24. You never know what you get with Calderano. He managed to lose to Afanador in the first round.
  25. On the plus side, it's good to see they didn't include shooters like Call of Duty, Counter-Strike or Fortnite.
