  1. Sutirtha and Manika move into the Rd2 of the TT women's singles in Olympics. This is a great accomplishment by our TT players. 1st time we had a victory and now 2 women in 2nd Rd is a treat to ears. Great result for TT contingent after the loss in XD

  13. 20 year old Gurindervir Singh won the men's 100 meters dash with a meet record of 10.27 seconds at the National Inter-State Athletics Championships. He was just 0.01s away from the NR.
  14. Neeraj Chopra hurled the spear to a distance of 86.79 meters for bronze at the Kuortane Games. He looks to cross 90m in the Olympics.
  15. Injury mars Indian Olympic campaigns in past week. Bajrang, Hima n Dutee have injury scare with Hima looking bad and sure of being out. Dutee looked to have picked a niggle hope she regains fitness. Bajrang needs to be 100% match fit.

  23. We need someone like Rahul Dravid, Gopi to lead the juniors in football. They gave more than 100% and brought discipline in the youngsters in their respective sports. Same is needed in football for the game to move forward in right direction.
