    Ouch, 4 misses in the last shooting for Brazil's number one athlete on cross-country skis, too bad. Still, 12/15 in the first three shootings is respectable and enough to be proud of, onwards and upwards to Friday

    Weidel ends up 7 seconds behind Merkushyna, so close, but good

    And Stefanie Scherer even takes over the lead at shooting 2!

    Weidel gets to within 10 seconds at the last split, but she'll fall short of catching Merkushyna. Too bad, but still a very good race.

    Damn it, Weidel missed the 19th shot! But ends with 19 hits and goes into the last lap 11 seconds behind clean Merkushyna....this can be tight, come on!

    And another four hits! Too bad that, like in the first prone shooting, the very first one missed...that can be better

    Yesterday she said it was terrible and judging by today's weather (wet, 6 degrees) I highly doubt it improved

    And a third clean shooting for Weidel! Kruchinkina is on her tail by 6 seconds there but just missed three (!) in the last shooting so is as good as out, Merkushyna, Shevnina and Andersson are all within the margin of one miss.

    And another four hits for our Totallympian, excellent! And she shot pretty fast by the looks of it, especially the last two shots (2.5 and 3.3 seconds) were definitely faster than normal Qu is missing out with three hits, too bad.

    Dunja Zdouc is flying, even faster than Andersson at shooting 2 (14 seconds!) despite both having one miss. Clean second shooting for Weidel who takes the lead there

    Yeah, because the track itself is right between some mountain ridges in a 'cold spot' --> if it's sunny, I believe the sun still never really gets on the track, apart from maybe the edge somewhere (and the wax cabins)

    I guess the last metro back to the city is leaving in a few minutes, since once agan everyone is leaving? Every year Last match of the day barely started and there's already long lines for the exits visible.

    I believe in recent years she's had quite some serious health problems, mostly relating to potential kidney failure. I remember she was on some sort of rather 'heavy' medication which made her appear really bloated (insults in the BDO live chat were disgusting). This probably had some effect on her performances as well. She did win the World Darts Trophy last year, her second career major win after the Finder Darts Masters 2015.

    Ah yeah, a sport I literally only ever heard of because I somehow happened to see Brazil won a silver in it Nothing against the players and anyone who thinks I have something against Brazilian wintersports really missed something, but I hope ice stock sport won't become Olympic
