  1. This has almost literally nothing to do with it (since it's both not that old and it's available on streaming), but: ok
  2. Has anyone here ever heard about this 'Breaking Bad'? Seriously, I've started with episode one about five times in the past years and never got past it, does it get any better than that lame-ass first episode?
  3. I thought Italy wanted out of there, or only after a deal is made?
  4. Which is an excellent 'rule of thumb' to live by in general in this thread. We don't have a spoiler function for no reason
  5. Millions of people, I guess Haven't started yet, although for whatever reason Netflix always throws it in my face
  6. Well yeah be that as it may, I'm not going to not watch it knowing it's the last one and I've already seen the first two
  7. No, I haven't found the time yet Meanwhile I realized I've also watched the first two seasons of Da Vinci's Demons and then watched the first one again because I had forgotten...now I'm almost in need of watching S1 again before going to S2 and then finally seeing if I can find S3 somewhere
  8. I liked The 100 as something to watch on the side. It's the kind of show I sit down for, but don't turn the room into a cinema for
  9. I am aware of that...sadly.
  10. WTF athletes are human?
  11. I suppose there is a far-away deadline for deciding about those things? It'd be insane to decide "the World Cup is impossible" if in June there are these travel regulations for example. And "It may be appropriate to have the entire tour in the same country so that we do not spread the virus." makes no sense at all...if you cross a border, you're spreading the virus, but if you stay inside the border suddenly you don't? That's not how it works, mister Mignerey..
  12. As long as participating nations do, that's all that's needed.
  13. Absolutely! They should have made a single-line parade though so they could break last year's world record
  14. Fuck the coronavirus, hurray http://tdh.gov.tm/news/en/articles.aspx&article22020&cat30
  15. As the old saying goes: "Having five Ghanese players in your team doesn't automatically make it a great team." Dushanbe-83 made their debut in the Tajik League yesterday, after they of course finished 3rd in last year's First Division and got promoted, we all remember that. They had to face record and six-time reigning champions Istiklol though and that was a bridge too far: 0-7. Manuchekhr Dzhalilov, Tajikistan's all-time top goalscorer, opened the season with a hattrick. Especially his first goal (0-2) was good.
  16. Since this is also a sports forum: what are governments in your countries doing, if anything of course, to help the sports community? Not much here yet, but some of the top flight football teams have had the balls to pretty much demand money from the government to prevent them from going bankrupt Obviously I hope the government won't hand out money to football clubs, especially the bigger ones, but it might be different especially for smaller sports and teams.
  17. I've been going from 90-92 or so in January to about 84-85 by now and the slow but steady move towards 80kg hasn't sped up or slown down significantly during this coronavirus thing
  18. You know you're going down the wrong path when you're looking at someone's skin colour and/or gender to decide who will be your VP. And that goes both ways. He has to choose whoever is best for the job, no matter if they're white, black or pink or a man, woman or Apache attack helicopter.
  19. And then the whole thing will likely restart again and again. It's sad, but removing people like Khadaffi in countries like Libya leads to seemingly perpetual civil war, conflict and other such violent things.
  20. Exactly. I'd choose pretty much all of them over Birkeland by now. As for the women, I doubt it'll be long before Skrede gets her chance.
  21. Yeah, I don't think it was Argentina's players they would have had to worry about. Anyway, the main thing was of course the torturing and murdering going on, it being close to the stadium doesn't make it worse but does add an extra dark layer to the 1978 World Cup. Final referee Sergio Gonella has ever since been seen as someone trying everything to make Argentina win, sadly the Dutch players didn't keep their heads cool and after a relatively short while started responding to the non-stop provocations from their opponents. Lesson one: don't respond to provocations Dark days, 1978 makes Qatar 2022 seem like a fun little event.
  22. That worked well enough though, those behind the campaign of lies got what they wanted (Brexit) after a gazillion discussions.
  23. I would have been surprised with Brun-Lie in it, but Lien over Erdal? Didn't really see that coming, interesting. And yeah, Birkeland is done for. There's easily five guys who could get a World Cup chance ahead of him who aren't in this list yet.
