  1. Roskilde is there yearly, Grand Depart is definitely not. Go to the Grand Depart man.
  2. I highly doubt the Olympics will change their plans for the Tour de France, even though sometimes it's just smarter to move things along a bit for a more prestigious race in order to get a better field in your race.
  3. Not the only time the most prestigious competition doesn't budge for another one
  4. For once that could have some influence, considering the Olympic course is so mountaineous you'd expect strong climbers instead of one-day specialists.
  5. Yeah, the name is familiar. No idea which 'song' is from which DJ though.
  6. I basically only know Tiesto and Armin van Buuren and have no idea who is better, so, sure
  7. I wouldn't put any money on it actually starting early in July But yeah it'd be interesting, although it'll be a bit of a pathetic sight: an empty Red Bull Ring.
  8. Tajik football got put on hold as mentioned earlier, but not before a new talent rose up in the ranks of Istiqlol. The Johan Cruijff of Dushanbe, #14 Sheriddin Boboev (20 years old), had to be substituted after a little over 20 minutes and was replaced by 17 year old Rustam Soirov...who went on to score a hattrick in the 6-1 win against Kuktosh. Their Ghanaian defender Prince Arthur was definitely the....let's say, least impressive player on the field: he was negatively involved in at least four of Istiqlol's goals, most of the time by looking as if he was fast asleep and only responded a second or two later.
  9. Thing is, people also get dozens or even hundreds of strokes for all kinds of nonsense. Apart from society hopefully moving away from semi-torture like flogging, which is rather stronger than a little smack.
  10. Saudi Arabia has stopped with having flogging/caning as punishment, that's something. They of course still use the Sharia and it's Medieval punishments and rules (stoning, cutting off limbs etc), but it's at least a tiny step towards something more humane.
  11. I'm gonna count major Chinese or South Korean media announcing it as well, but yeah, not so much the rest
  12. Tajikistan really has some obsession with Spain in this whole crisis thing. "Your football is our inspiration, stay strong Spain." on billboards in Dushanbe's stadium now, a while ago those billboards were saying "Stay strong Spain, we are praying for you."
  13. Yeah especially not about Burundi Nicaragua at least makes for a fun headline if Real Madriz and Juventus play each other
  14. Well damn. I mean, of course Turkmenistan's recently started season is still going ahead, but there's no live streams and/or good highlight videos of the matches from there as far as I can find And I know there's Taiwan or Belarus, but that's not obscure enough to be fun
  15. I'm watching yesterday's Istiklol - Kuktosh at this very moment (yeah I've started to actually follow this thing), so you're saying today's three matches aren't going ahead?
  16. Imagine being someone of some importance in that regime and knowing more than we do, for example knowing his sister is about to take over. Yo-jong is absolutely going to do what Jong-un did in his early days: execute and eliminate people who he maybe doesn't trust 100%, to make a point. If you're a somewhat important figure, you're right now probably thinking about those times you maybe didn't address her 100% properly or something At least they are grateful for their healthcare system https://kcnawatch.org/newstream/1587837918-260862990/we-are-grateful-for-our-healthcare-system/
  17. Which is why all this is, for now, nothing more than sensationalist media making a thing out of everything. I think in a few years this will be on his Wikipedia page as one of the many times people were speculating about his health and a bit later there he was again. If there's one thing people can easily photoshop 'evidence' of on Twitter and make false stories about, it's the death of the leader of a highly isolated country. Just keep an eye on Yonhap or something.
  18. It is definitely not Tamberi, it is my imitation of him by shaving off half of the result of a few weeks of staying at home
